Richard is the official photographer for the CHBA (Canadian Home Builders' Association.)

In 2006, a project he photographed for Doug Tarry Homes of St. Thomas, Ontario as their entry for the National SAM Awards, won them the "Grand SAM" for Best Home Builder in Canada.
